About the Founder & Director
Strengthening cross-cultural understanding and community connection
Juliana Reigal is a Brazilian cultural producer, curator, and creative director, and an entrepreneurial woman recognized for her strategic business vision and outstanding marketing expertise, dedicated to celebrating and elevating Brazilian music, arts, and culture across Colorado.
Born and raised in Brazil, Juliana earned a degree in Social Communication and later completed an Associate Degree in Arts and Theater, building a strong foundation in storytelling, performance, and cultural expression. After moving to the United States in 2006, she began producing Brazilian cultural events and has since become a leading force in Colorado’s Brazilian arts scene.
Over the past 18+ years, Juliana has produced and curated more than 158 cultural events across Colorado, ranging from intimate performances to large-scale festivals. She is the Founder and CEO of Be Brazil Nonprofit, Founder, Director, and CEO of Brazilian Music Colorado, and Co-Founder and Director of Be Wild Camp, where arts, culture, and education intersect.
Juliana has served as the Curator of Denver Carnaval for five consecutive years, guiding the festival as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. She is also the Founder and Arts Director of Brazilian Day Denver, hosted at the Levitt Pavilion, a flagship event dedicated to showcasing Brazilian culture on a grand scale.
Her production work includes bringing major Brazilian artists to Colorado, such as Nando Reis at the Boulder Theater and Marcelo Falcão and Emicida at the Fox Theatre. She is also a key member of the production team for Colorado Brazil Fest, contributing to one of the state’s most important Brazilian cultural celebrations.
Through Brazilian Music Colorado, Juliana combines innovative business strategies, strong brand development, and impactful marketing with artistic excellence to create inclusive, high-quality cultural experiences that connect communities, amplify Brazilian artists, and preserve Brazilian cultural heritage.

When I moved to the United States, I felt a deep responsibility to keep this culture alive, not only for Brazilians living abroad, but for future generations and for the broader community eager to experience it.

Brazilian Music Colorado was created to give Brazilian artists a professional platform, to present our culture with excellence and authenticity, and to create spaces where music brings people together across borders, languages, and backgrounds. Every event is an act of cultural preservation and celebration.”
